Q: Is the royal blue shade colourfast, or will it fade with regular use?
A: The dyes used are colour-set through the traditional Banarasi finishing process, so everyday exposure to light and occasional dry cleaning won't cause noticeable fading. To keep the blue at its richest for years, we'd still recommend avoiding prolonged direct sunlight and opting for dry cleaning over washing, which is standard care for any pure silk brocade textile.
Note: These are raw pieces directly from weaving. On order confirmation, it will go for finishing and polishing.
